Russia Not Taking Sides in US Political Fight - Lavrov

Russia is not taking either side in the political struggle in the United States, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Speaking to the NBC network, he said that a "fight" was underway between US President Donald Trump and the political establishment in the country.

"They want to make the life of this administration miserable, people try to speak about impeachment … It’s absolutely a fight," Lavrov said.

The minister added that Russia was on the side of "justice."
