U.S. President Barack Obama seeks compromise on missile defense with Russia.

"Hillary Clinton said that President Obama wants to continue the search for compromise agreements on missile defense," Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said after talks with U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in the corridors of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations' events in Cambodia.

Moscow, too, "is ready to continue efforts to forge agreements that would defend Russia's security," Lavrov said.
