US President Trump Will Sign Latest Anti-Russian Sanctions Bill Into Law - Pence
Published 1-08-2017, 20:27
President of the United States Donald Trump will definitely sign a law on the imposition of sanctions against Russia, for their abolition, Moscow will have to fulfill its obligations, US Vice President Mike Pence said.

US Vice President Mike Pence expressed confidence that US President Donald Trump will sign the latest batch of anti-Russian sanctions into law. Pence made this statement during a visit in Tbilisi.

Last week, both chambers of the US Congress approved a bill imposing new sanctions on Russia, Iran and North Korea, as well as limiting US President Donald Trump's ability to lift the anti-Moscow restrictions. On Friday, the White House said Trump intended to sign the bill.

In December 2016, Washington adopted sanctions targeting Russia over its alleged interference in the US presidential election, something which Moscow has repeatedly denied, expelling 35 Russian diplomats and seizing two diplomatic compounds used by Russia.
